Tree Planting

22nd November 2019

This week we have all been busy planting trees in the school grounds. We have been given over 400 saplings to plant around the school grounds by the Woodland Trust to help offset our carbon footprint. The newly created wood area and hedging will also provide new habitats for wildlife and will expand our provision for learning outdoors.

Thanks go to Mr Dixon for donning his wellies and working in the great outdoors to mark out the planting areas and help all the children plant their saplings. He was very well assisted by 4 brilliant Year 6 pupils – Kayden, Imogen, Emily and Tyler. Thank you and well done!
